The Great Lakes PTTC is a second pilot of the new national Prevention Core Competencies curriculum. The training will be held in person in Minneapolis on March 13-15, 2023. The deadline for applications is February 15th.
Please note the eligibility criteria that participants must meet to be considered for this course:
• One to three years of experience in the substance misuse prevention field
• Work and/or live in the Great Lakes region (IL, IN, MI, MN, OH, WI)
• Ability to attend the entire training (9:00 AM-5:00 PM on March 13 and 14; 8:00 AM-2:00 PM on March 15)
• Willing to provide constructive feedback regarding the core competencies course
Travel costs for accepted participants will be covered by the PTTC National Coordinating Office. So, this is a wonderful opportunity for the newer prevention professionals in our region!
